Maikha Jean-Baptiste, MD
I believe in a holistic approach to healthcare, treating the whole patient and not just the disease.
As a family physician, I love being able to provide patient-centered, full spectrum care to my patients of all ages. It is one of the reasons I completed a fellowship in obstetrics. I can follow my moms throughout their pregnancies and perform vaginal deliveries or cesarean sections if needed. I enjoy getting to see children grow and having a relationship with the whole family. I particularly love Women’s Health, but my interests also include integrative medicine, community engagement and global health. In residency, I helped start the Walk with a Doc San Diego chapter. I have also done global health work in Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama.
Why The Everett Clinic?
I chose to work at the Everett Clinic because I knew that I would be working in a diverse welcoming environment that values both patient care and the health of its physicians.
